It seems that lately there’s a trend of combining the brand of Mobile handset with luxurious vehicles’ outfits. After the partnership of Motorola-Ferrari and Asus-Lamborghini, Sony Ericsson followed them by launching their own luxury auto phone. However, Sony Ericsson chose to establish a partnership with Ducati, a bike maker company, instead of the car makers.

SE Ducati handset seems to be based on Sony Ericsson Z770 platform, and will come outfitted with Ducati branded covers, themes, screensavers, videos and even it’s own HBH DS-220 based Ducati Bluetooth headset.

SE Z780

A picture of the Sony Ericsson Z780 was posted by the Sony Ericsson Blog recently. In the picture, the Z780 was shown in different angles in size of little thumbnails.

A while a go the Sony Ericsson Mobile Company was preparing for the launch of the new flip-candy phone known as the Z780. Our source said that the handset look very similar to the Z770i and it will have QVGA (240×320 pixels) display and Browser NetFront 3.4 feature. This new gadget will be available in two colors: Amethyst Silver and Grand Onyx. Our source added that this handset will have two versions: Z780i for Europe and Z780a for North America
