It seems that Sony Ericsson gets some troubles these days. After the software glitch of Satio and Aino have been resolved, now the delayed releasing date has announced. Yes, Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, the Window mobile phone release will be delayed to January 2010.

Vodafove gives comment that the delayed date is not the good choice, as the market at that time is not going to be favorable. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will follow then but it can be too late. However, there is still a hope for the company.

A report comes from Sony Ericsson Developer World Twitter feed. The report says that Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 seems to have the highest Jbenchmark PRO score ever. Yes we know that it has very high resolution display that brings the performance disadvantages. However, at least the score looks quite remarkable.

In detail information, the report also says that Xperia X2 also has the best JVM (Java Virtual Machine on Windows Mobile device. Comparing to X1, X2 has better support for different API’s and JSR’s. That is because X1 only supports 4 API’s and JSR’s but X2 supports 18 API’s and JSR’s.

Not only the company boosts Satio with the decent hardware (12Mpx camera) but it also presents in improved software.

Satio runs in S60 5th Edition but you will be offered with different and unique interface than that of Nokia. It will be specially shown in Standby screen, Camera application and Media Browser. It supports the 3rd-party applications from the Sony Ericsson such as native applications, java applications or widgets. The different UI in Satio is excellent work. It brings the easiness for users and a lot of details can found on Symbian. Most actions can be got thru 1-2 clicks.

Dotsisx over at symbian-guru.com had made her review on Sony Ericsson Satio. She used the prototype handset of Satio.

Well, Satio prototype came in the very well box design. The Satio itself presented in a huge handset with the well finished silver and metal color. As the main part of Satio might was its huge display which was black surrounding 3.5″ and covered with scratch-resistant glass. Under the display was 3 circle buttons with tactile feedback. They were Call, Menu and End.

Eldar over at Mobile-Review has published his Russian language review about Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. As the English review will be published later, so we take the translation.

The original WinMo 6.5 operating system on X2 has been masked with the new concept of the company. Some of the panels are new besides the familiar one like CNN and Facebook. Finally the long awaited moment has come. A few days ago Sony Ericsson had announced the Xperia X2 officially. The X1 successor has taken a lot of hype but the delayed annoucement has made this phone failed to impress the market.
