According to Peter Chou, the HTC CEO, HTC may release their Windows Phone 7 lineup by the end of 2010. So, after this the speculation may end that saying HTC will wait Microsoft’s permit for custom UIs.

As many of us know there is a rule from Microsoft regarding their new Windows Phone 7 operating system states that home-brewed UI are not permitted. So, there is no manufacture will have right for customizing this Windows Phone 7 before Microsoft finishes to deliver uniform UI for various devices.

So, it is confirmed now by HTC CEO, Peter Chou in CTIA 2010. HTC will make their Windows Phone 7 and the device will hit the market before the end of 2010. The device’s name seems to be HTC Obsession, that previously had been leaked about 2 months ago.

Sony Ericsson has announced the new variant of its smartphone called Aspen but hasn’t announced the launch plan. The surprising news about Aspen is that it is the first Sony Ericsson’s Windows Mobile 6.5.3 smartphone to be unearthed and perhaps the last one before Sony Ericsson moves to the higher level of Windows Phone 7 series. This GreenHeart phone packs quad-band GSM/EDGE with HSPA 900/2100 or 850/900/2100 radios.

You the users of WinMo should be familiar with Swype. This new input method has been popular and you can see it in Samsung Omnia II. With Swype you will use swiping motion than the traditional method with hunting and pecking. So you will run your fingers over your keyboard while Swype predicts your desired words.

According to head of Microsoft’s mobility division in United Kingdom, Phil Moore, Windows Mobile 7 will be delayed till the end of 2010. This decision may not be the good choice considering the rivals of WinMo will release their updates earlier.
