Sony Ericsson Aino is in between Satio (very high end) and Yari (mid/high end).

At the first look, Aino looks like a full touch handset with no physical keys present. Aino has slide out keypad that transforms the phone to regular phone if opened. This has plus and minus. You’ll get the larger screen but on other side it makes the phone’s size bigger.

Aino has 3-inch TFT touch screen with capacitive technology in 240 x 432 pixels of resolution. The display is good and sharp in quality. Aino offers you the 2 different interfaces each come with different shortcuts, features and buttons. It has user-friendly interface.

Walkman and Cybershot still becomes the concept mobile word. But Aino offers its PlayStation concept to the users and of course this Aino’s PS3 connectivity makes hype. The Touch Media menu is said fail to boost the phone. However the Aino’s standard Sony Ericsson UI still offers the best. Unfortunately this touch phone is not among that full touch group.

The rival seems to be Samsung S8300 UltraTOUCH. However this full touch phone doesn’t has WLAN as Aino but it has better camera and offers the good quality D1 video recording.

At previous, we have known the issue of in-fighting in Sony Ericsson joint venture about PSP Phone which Sony had refused to give PSP Phone licence to Sony Ericsson. Now Sony is working on the next plan of them, cellphone game gear hybrid. This future PlayStation smartphone of Sony may will be competitor for iPod and iPhone of Apple as the new choice outside the traditional gaming such as Nintendo’s DS and Sony’s PlayStation Portable.

We have made short info of Sony Ericsson Aino, now we shall get a little review of its first look.

This entertainment slider has gathered all capabilities on previous Sony Ericsson phone with no doubt. Of course with better quality. Some of its multimedia powers are its touch menu that PS3-inspired, 3-inch touchscreen that large and VGA@30fps video recording. As mentioned in previous post that this phone also gets the feature of Remote Play that actually developed for PSP. With that feature, you can access the media content on PLAYSTATION 3 through your phone, Aino.

With just one touch, users can get direct access to the content. Your Aino can be used to access your PLAYSTATION3 media content. Trough its Remote Play, this can be done anywhere and anytime. For this, you can use local network (between Aino and your PLAYSTATION3) or internet connection anywhere. Enjoying PlayTV of your PLAYSTATION3 via Aino is a nice alternative which you can record, pause and watch the live TV of various free channels out there. This latter service, Play TV especially is aimed for users in Italy, France, Spain, Germany and UK as well.
