Emoze revealed a free, network operator independent mobile email offering. According to phonescoop.com Emoze will support Java based market mobile handsets belonging to Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola.
Emoze mobile email service uses technology supplied by Sun and will offer more superior user interface than other mobile email products. The email service supports Microsoft Exchange, POP3/IMAP servers along with Web mail servers such as Gmail. It is rolled out in waves, the 1st mobile to be supported are to be the Nokia Series 40 handsets, while the others like Ericsson and Samsung will be added soon.

Good news for Sony Ericsson costumers since from the beginning of this month they can download more than 150 million web videos to their phone. How does the Swedish-Japanese do that? They signed a deal with Veveo Inc, a company that had developed a mobile video search service called vtap.
The next best thing is: it’s FREE. That’s right folks. Users can get this service through the Sony Ericsson Fun & Downloads web portal and customers will be able to personalize the videos they wish to see. It searches video sites such as MySpace, YouTube and DailyMotion along with many others on the web to locate videos which match a user’s preference.
