Samsung has announced that it has shipped over 1 million Samsung Galaxy S in U.S. Though this number is shipping number not sold number, this Android 2.1 phone surely caught the heart of the market. Namely three US carriers has bring this device with their own version, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, not to mention the upcoming two, the Verizon and US cellular on.

It would not be long till this phone completely rock the US market, they began to ship on 15th of July, 31th August with the Sprint and with Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular and Cellular South this fall.

Samsung Galaxy S comes with a large 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, one of the largest among Android smartphone. Its a great device to watch video on the go. But if you want to show your 720p HD video to your friends, you can use the TV-Out features on this phone. Galaxy S has enough power to do this. The phone is packed with a 1GHz processor and the Android 2.1 operating system. he camera is 5MP with option for 720p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. Other goodies include 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, HD video playback, as well as playback for many other formats like FLAC, and MKV.

This isn’t surprising anymore when we heard a news that Samsung Galaxy S will run Android 2.2 of Froyo operating system. However, now Samsung had convince us about it. All of Samsung Galaxy S devices runs Android 2.2 of Froyo updates. This news was based on Samsung’s confirmation in their Galaxy launch party in New York. It means that Vibrant, Epic 4G, Captivate, and Fascinate will runs Google’s latest Android update.

However, it seems not fair for the device themselves. Those 4 high-end cellphone are basically the same devices, which one will get Froyo update in the near future? It might be the Epic 4G that run Froyo. It featured slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a front facing camera. The keyboard and the front facing camera are the things that makes Epic 4G sounds the highest device among them. Besides, Froyo is compatible with Adobe Flash 10.1.

Samsung I9000 Galaxy S has been released these recent days, but it still stores a mystery about how much the RAM capacity inside new Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. Why the RAM capacity of this phone is still a mystery? Because we can not find any information about the RAM capacity of Samsung I9000 Galaxy S on the Samsung official website. But some rumors say that this new Samsung Galaxy will came with 256 MB and others say 512 MB will be the capacity of this Samsung Galaxy.W

We find on the gsmarena.com about the new Samsung I9000 Galaxy S, there is explained that Samsung I9000 Galaxy S will be powered with 256 MB RAM capacity as they see on its system information screen. But, in their latest article about Samsung I9000 Galaxy S, they explain that it will be 512 MB storage amount as its RAM. It is based on the feedback from Samsung when they ask directly to Samsung about this mystery.

When both phones, Samsung Galaxy S and HTC EVO 4G were unveiled at CTIA some time ago, people might get confused which phone was better and had more featured.

As for HTC EVO 4G all of us already know that it is the 1st phone in United States which features the broadband speed of 21Mbps. The featured phone is estimated to be a winner within any other phones Can you imagine that Desktop computer’s browsing speed in your mobile phone?

Then Samsung Galaxy S has grabbed the headlines thru its super features, a huge 4 inch AMOLED Screen that 20% brighter than common screens. Galaxy S’s screen is better than EVO 4G that is not super AMOLED although it is still bigger so that it can compensate the Galaxy’s brightness.

Spec comparison:

1. OS: Both HTC EVO 4G and Samsung Galaxy S runs on Android 2.1.

2. Screen Size: HTC EVO features with 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen, while Galaxy S sports a Super 4 inch touch screen. We know that capacitive touch screen is popular with its fast and better response when tapped and Super AMOLED is featured by Samsung as brighter than other touch screens.

3. Processor: Both HTC EVO and Galaxy S are powered by 1 GHz processor.

At the CTIA event, people were woven with the super featured Android phone from Samsung namely Galaxy S. This Android device is claimed to has the 3 times speed of iPhone 3GS as it is featured a super CPU+GPU configuration.

The highlighted features are special such as a 4? AMOLED display, 5Mpx snapper and 1GHz processor mixed with a cool PowerVR SGX540 GPU. So when putting onto hardware performance, this promises 3 times more speed than the iPhone 3GS. Will Galaxy S has a capability to compete with iPhone?

The on paper answer could be ‘yes’. Its superior display, camera, processor / GPU make the Galaxy an iPhone Killer. We shall see this…

Samsung Galaxy S will come later in 2010. It may be in competition with iPhone 4G, but for now the comparison goes with iPhone 3GS.
