Everyone knows how difficult it is to learn the new programming language. In fact this process is a stage when a developer wants to create an app for Symbian or Android device. Now this case is not a matter anymore as you can go to Developer World, where Sony Ericsson WebSDK is available.

Using Sony Ericsson WebSDK now the developer can make use of the basic or advanced CSS / HMTL / Javasript languange for creating an app for Symbian or Android phone. Sony Ericsson WebSDK will convert the web app into an app that can be applied on Symbian and Android devices.

There’s a leaked spy photos from a Chinese website on the new breed of Sony Ericsson phone, the Sony Ericsson Jalou. What is interesting is that the name “Jalou” is actually the commercial name of the device instead of the codename, well at least that is what our Chinese friends said.

Specs wise, it is said that the Sony Ericsson Jalou will utilize the Symbian S60 5th edition as its firmware. And as an addition, it will also sports 8 megapixel camera and 3 inch touchscreen. There’s no information on the physical keyboard, but judging from the thickness of the device in the picture, I personally think that it might use a Full QWERTY keyboard.

Other notable features includes GPRS, EDGE, HSPA connectivity, Wi-Fi and GPS. Well, as I said earlier, this is not a formal information on the device. Therefore it can be right or wrong… So what do you think? Could this be true?

We still can not predict which one Sony Ericsson will choose between the three operating systems, Google Android, Windows Mobile or S60 for the next Xperia. However, there are some rumors out there regarding this issue which we will write here.

Recently rumors say that Sony Ericsson will launch its Windows Mobile smartphone in the future. We also find another rumor says that the coming phone of the manufacture will be based on Google Android. The last issue also informs that the upcoming Android phone will be launched in the end of this year. As for the S60 based smartphone, we have known that Idou will use S60 platform.

This week we get a hot news of half part of Sony Ericsson joint venture, Ericsson. Well, at least the news is somewhat reassuring. Like mentioned by Carl Henric Svanberg, CEO, his company is able to add cash to the joint venture, Sony Ericsson, if needed. We have known before that Sony Ericsson faced the quite deep loss in Q1 this year.
