Mobilewhack.com has posted their review of LG Chocolate touch phone. The phone is a solid phone in its right. Some users may not like to choose the phone, as it is not a smartphone that will do everything for you. However LG Chocolate still offers its nice features.

This touch screen phone have many interesting features such as GPS system and web browser as well as game demo. Unfortunately most of the games need a network connection so you have to be in Verizon calling plan for it. The other features is the better FM Radio than Nokia N79. In other side LG Chocolate has 3.2 Mpx camera that looks not bad.

In short this phone is a high quality gift with its call clarity that also looks good. The phone is available in Best Buy for 300 bucks. You will be happy with this.

Review of Sony Ericsson C903

Published: Mar 14th, 2009 | Author: Michael 1 Comment

Sony T-series point-and-shoot digcams may become inspiration of Sony Ericsson C903. This cameraphone contains the upgrades of C902 screen size and GPS that now become GPS-enable 5 MP slider and large display. Compared with previous C901, this higher-midrange market of cameraphone presents with its candybar. The phone itself had launched in the last month. The candybar cameraphone supports Wi-Fi, GPS with Wayfinder 2, a large 2.4″ display with accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and 5 megapixel AF camera with dedicated setup keys. However, its camera flash might not as good as the conservative C901.

One of the biggest hits of the Mobile World Congress is the 12 megapixel camera-phone Sony Ericsson Idou. The software platform in which the Idou will run is S60 5th edition that shows Sony trust on Nokia system. The yet unnamed phone is accompanied by a Xenon flash, LED flash for video recording, autofocus, video recording, Smile Shutter technology, geo-tagging and face detection.

This upcoming phone brings the commonly high-end features like microSD memory card slot, HSDPA, Bluetooth, an accelerometer, DLNA-certified Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 connectivity and A-GPS.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Review by Boingboing

Published: Feb 21st, 2009 | Author: sefanboy Add Comment

Here yet another Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 review. Better late than never, this time Boingboing posted their opinion about Sony Ericsson’s first Windows Mobile handset. As they said, the X1 is engineered art, precise to the finest detail and machined in brushed metal. A high-end powerhouse that mocks the bejeweled junk that usually passes for luxury in cellphone-land, it remains hard to recommend thanks to its extravagant price.

At $800 unlocked, with no subsidy options, every virtue is expected, and every vice doubly disappointing.

A slider-phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, the X1 has a 3″ touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera, secondary webcam and a 528Mhz Qualcomm CPU with a 256MHz co-processor. Built in is 256MB of RAM, 512MB of Flash storage and a quad-band 3G GSM radio. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, FM radio and a 1500 mAh battery. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and weighs 158 grams.

As a piece of hardware it’s almost without peer. Photos are crisp and large, the keyboard is well thought-out, and performance is excellent compared to workhorse smartphones. The 800×480 display is particularly amazing. For those who want serious productivity, it’s got grunt in abundance: mobile blogging would be a dream on this thing.

On the other hand, it’s thick and heavy, and the arc on which the keyboard slides out seems more about form than function.

Its interface, comprising a collection of heavily customizable panels that abstract the phone’s functionality in various pretty ways, is equally swanky. Though it’s WinMo under the hood, it does a great job of making it as friendly as OS newcomers. In particular, the media player is a colossal improvement over the standard app bunged into vanilla Windows Mobile. You’ll still need to pull out the stylus to pick at tiny-texted menus once you’re inside many apps, however, so don’t expect miracles.
