A few days ago at November 4, Sony Ericsson had been announced its Android platform smartphone, Xperia X10. This phone brings the super-imposed interface by Sony Ericsson entitled UX platform. This UX platform is able to synchronize user data smoothly with several networking service on the web.

This is what Sony Ericsson EVP and Chief Creation Officer, Rikko Sakaguchi had been said: “The Xperia X10 is a fantastic example of our make.believe philosophy because we are pushing the boundaries of what is possible and demonstrating that anything consumers can imagine, we can make possible. With the X10, we are raising the bar we hav e set ourselves with the entertainment-rich phones like Aino and Satio by making communication more fun and playful, multiplying and enriching opportunities to connect”.

The two main features are Timescape and Mediascape and Face Detection (previously we had talked about). The device will run on Android v1.6. X10 has access to PlayNow to make the owners easy to customize their phones with the latest games and apps. Wise Pilot, the navigation service of the company will be also available as free trial.

xperia x10

Xperia X10 aka Rachael seems to be the Sony Ericsson masterpiece for the upper segment. The company has also worked in midrange phone behinds the closed door. Rachael looks good and we hope for the more better and polished User Interface and stable performance in the final unit. We shall wait to see it in February.

X10 has the customized UI of Android 1.6 (codename Donut). Sad to know that there is no plan to upgrade to Android 2.0. The other nasty thing is that the OS doesn’t feature multi touch gesture like pinch zooming in gallery and browser. However X10 has offered the impressive new UI on its Android OS.

Some leaked info of Rachael interface has been around. This time we find the video shows Xperia X10’s media player interface. The design looks similar to Mirosoft Zune HD in its wonderful polish and liberal styling. The overall result seems very acceptable.

The Sony Ericsson Rachael has made its public appearance confirms its official announcement on November 3th. There is also an official brochure from Sony Ericsson talks about Rachael aka Xperia X10.

Like previously mentioned this official brochure of Xperia X10 states that Rachael will run on Android with its 32 GB of internal memory that expandable through memory cards. So all those have put Rachael on its class, the same level with Nokia N97.

Previously we have heard about Xperia X3 many times. According to some rumors, this phone will be released in November 2009. But later, it seems the phone will be released in the next year, Februari 2010.

The other info about it also has come. Probably we will not meet the Xperia X3 in upcoming Februari, but the Xperia X10. Yes, the latest rumor has said that Xperia X3 codenamed Rachael will be changed to Xperia X10.
