Due to the fact that Sony Ericsson lifted the release smartphone BeiBei, engineering versions of the phone, which dispersed throughout the world, acquired the status as collection models.
One HowardForums.com member sells two phone BeiBei – (an engineering sample) for $ 530, the second will be sold after “proposal, which the seller can not refuse”. However, it is likely that Sony Ericsson will still release BeiBei (as well as Paris) as limited series for the Asian market.

After a while buzzing over the internet, the rumor about the cancel of Paris and BeiBei has finally came true. Following the cancellation of the M60i, both of the phones have similar problems with the M60i. That problem is the large numbers of critics from reviewers and other industry watchers such as mobile-review.com, endgadget.com and Cnet.co.uk. The story doesn’t end there because we are hearing that whilst Paris and the G702 may have been cancelled in Europe, they might still make an appearance in Asia.

Paris seekers, please be thankful to our friends at se-world.info and the YouTube, since now all of us can see the promotional video of this handset. You can find the link at the end of this post.
For your information, the Sony Ericsson Paris (P5) will be powered by UIQ 3.3, come with a secondary video call camera, GPS, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth and 3G connection. The keyboard will be similar to M600, which has 2 characters on a key. The P5 will also pre-installed with Google Map, Wayfinder and Opera Mobile software.

People, in about a month or less you will be seeing the official release of 5-6 devices at the CommunicAsia. If everything’s on the right track, BeiBei (G702) and Paris (P200) will be announced as well.
About the G702, our friend at the Se-nse has got their hands on the handset. It seems that they’re amazed by the G702 camera. The quality of the camera is definitely on par with the K770, if not better. The color saturation and amount of details are amazing. If everything goes by plan, hopefully we will see those pictures soon.

Our source at the mobile-review has posted a lot of live pictures of Sony Ericsson Paris P51. According to their experience after got their hands on the pre-production Paris, the handset is a bit faster than P1/w960 generation. And surprisingly, it’s even slightly faster than the G700 and G900.
The first impression you might get is the ‘faster’ feeling. It still holds the same old platform though.
