Just recently Sony Ericsson has finally put up an extra efforts to attract as many developers as possible to its platform, so that they can offer better end-user experiences for Sony Ericsson owners. So what is exactly Sony Ericsson had in mind? Well, our source said that the giant handset manufacturer will extend the Java platform to low-end and entry level 3G phones. Therefore, there might be a chance that a single app can be used in many Sony Ericsson phone series.

The company put high expectations in the apps development in the Chinese market. We already know that the idea might and might not always work (like in Symbian), but I personally love the news and the fact that Sony Ericsson cares about its end-user experience
