We have known earlier that Apple will be ready with their next gen iPhone in San Francisco in June 22. This new iPhone has referred to iPhone 4G and iPhone HD. However June 22 is not yet confirmed by Apple itself.

Like any other iPhone fans we expect this next gen iPhone will feature a larger, higher-resolution display (940×640), upgraded camera with LED flash, video calling, RFID integration, a front-facing camera and perhaps an Apple A4 processor (similar to iPad). We also hope iPhone 4G boasts some sort of solar-power technology and support for 802.11n WiFi. Finally we also expect iPhone artistic design in line with their lineup, iPad/iMac/Macbook Pro, the brushed aluminum unibody.

At the CTIA event, people were woven with the super featured Android phone from Samsung namely Galaxy S. This Android device is claimed to has the 3 times speed of iPhone 3GS as it is featured a super CPU+GPU configuration.

The highlighted features are special such as a 4? AMOLED display, 5Mpx snapper and 1GHz processor mixed with a cool PowerVR SGX540 GPU. So when putting onto hardware performance, this promises 3 times more speed than the iPhone 3GS. Will Galaxy S has a capability to compete with iPhone?

The on paper answer could be ‘yes’. Its superior display, camera, processor / GPU make the Galaxy an iPhone Killer. We shall see this…

Samsung Galaxy S will come later in 2010. It may be in competition with iPhone 4G, but for now the comparison goes with iPhone 3GS.

The new offering from Sony Ericsson, the Xperia X10 seems to have great features. How if it is compared to iPhone 3GS? This chance Xperia X10 comes with its own design rather than using any ODM such as HTC (Xperia X1). Its impressive features including a large screen 4.0? screen and a sleek design in a cool weight to 135gms (similar to iPhone 3GS).

Running Android 1.6, X10 comes with custom Rachael interface with its Timescape and Mediascape. The fast processor it offers is 1GHz processor (while iPhone is 600Mhz). Its 8Mpx camera is a cool one with LED flash and finally its screen res of 854×480 offers you a nice browsing experience.

If the phone works well it can be a rival for HTC HD2 in this hard competition of large display device. But it seems not to be iPhone killer due to the lack of apps and multi touch (tought, one says that X10 can get eclair 2.0 that supports multi touch).

Xperia X10, the first Android from Sony Ericsson seems still need some touches. It needs new software update soon to make it better. However, Xperia X10 is one of the bright device to date, smart and powerful.

It offers 1GHz processor and cool 4” capacitive display plus 8Mpx autofocus snapper. More users are offered with excellent connectivity capabilities and it covers the whole popular social networks from wherever your phone menu.

Further more, its both UIs called Mediascape and Timescape do their good works. However the phone still needs some touches, one of it is Android 1.6 OS that now need to update. This is a need especially for such a high end phone like Xperia X10.

It looks like iPhone 4G has the bigger display and taller body than the predecessor, iPhone 3G. This tought is based on some parts that claimed as iPhone 4G component found in Olathe, Kansas. Those parts have been received by an iPhone repair shop namely iRest. Those parts contain of a front panel with taller size than iPhone 3GS. Its 1/4 inch taller size can lead to a 3.7 inch display, bigger than iPhone 3GS. Nowadays this display size has become a standard in industry.

Other than it, there is a small reflective surface on the front panel. The location is on the right above earpiece. It resembles a spot of proximity sensor. This location differs than iPhone 3GS.

A market research firm form Taiwan has given their report regarding iPhone sales market. According to them, Taiwan’s smartphone integrated circuits shipments have exploded. This explosion is due to the unpredicted amount of iPhone sales in that country. These Taiwan integrated circuit shipments have grown over 30% in this quarter.

Further information comes from Market Intelligence and Consulting Institute that has predicted iPhone will reach its hottest selling record in this quarter, 10 millions iPhones. The previous selling number of iPhone was 7.4 million units in Q3 2009.
