However, Joe Minihane says that the image still lacks quality, especially when you shoot on dark environment. It will produce the grainy picture. Great news, all of Sony ericsson phones fans out there! I’m sure if you are a Sony Ericsson lovers just like me, you’ve already heard about the 12 megapixel touchscreen smartphone Sony Ericsson Satio, right? Ok now it is time for the good news. According to our source, Sony Ericsson Satio has finally got the FCC approval to connect with networks in the US, which makes me pretty sure that it will come to U.S. market soon!

Anyway, the Sony Ericsson Satio’s name was initially Idou, and it was first introduced in the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona.So I am pretty sure that Sony Ericsson Satio is this year’s phone of the Swedish-Japanese manufacturer.

Specs wise, Sony Ericsson Satio has a 12-megapixel camera (no CyberShot) with Xenon flash, 3.5-inch widescreen touchscreen display, and DLNA-compatible WiFi and GPS receivers. And hopefully, the U.S. version will also support 3G network

Starting in 16 August, eBay will offer Sony Ericsson Satio or Idou. As for Vodafone UK, they have announced at the end of July that Sony Ericsson Satio will be available on their stores starting in October. This Sony Ericsson Satio is the first phone in Vodafone with 12.1MP camera feature. The Sony Ericsson Idou is expected to success in its launching. Further info on eBay that their Sation unlocked version is ready to be shipped around the world for any GSM right now.

According to semcblog.com, Sony Ericsson Entertainment Unlimited phones will hit the market in September. These trio Entertainment Unlimited phones are Satio, Aino and Yari. The precise date is on 28th September. Maybe it is earlier that you all have expected. Lets go to their features.

On a SE event in Taiwan, Vice President Marketing of Sony Ericsson, Peter Ang, said that the company will use Android 2.0 as their first Android phone operating system in near future. Further more, he said also that the new Android smartphone will feature Sony Ericsson User Interface. As we know that even actually Android 1.5 currently is not yet available to us.

The next CyberShotseries of Sony Ericsson has been leaked, Kokura. Some sources say that this phone is another name of Idou, but however, the info is not yet confirmed. Just like Idou this upcoming device has been featured with 12,1 Mpx camera and using S60 interface and Symbian OS version 9.4. The UI of this touchscreen phone is similar with that of iPhone.
