Sony Ericsson G705, a great offering from Sony Ericsson gets reviewed by Mobile Review. This phone is the twin brother of SE W705. G705 sports 3G, WiFi and GPS, 2.4? QVGA display, and 3.2-megapixel camera.

Even though the G705 comes equipped with only one loudspeaker, it’s pretty loud and won’t let you miss a call in pretty much any environment. However, considering the phone size, you’d expect it to rock somewhat louder; unfortunately, it’s not the case here. As far as reception quality goes, the Sony Ericsson G705 was an okay performer without any significant letdowns or strengths. The vibro alert is a bit above average strength-wise – you’ll feel it even though clothes, make no mistake about that.

G705 is the newest Sony Ericsson Generation Web lineup. Eventough it’s not a smartphone with operating system (ie. UIQ) like other G series, G705 packed with great features like GPS, WiFi, HSDPA, 3MM camera, and many more. The G705 is only the company’s second feature phone to sport both WLAN and GPS. And since the other one is proudly perched at the top of the Cybershot tree, the G705 has the midrange all to itself. What a cheeky chap!.

Kumiko or G705, the next G Series from Sony Ericsson will hit the market in near future. Before its announcement time, Kevin from cellphonesails has post interesting preview about this slider.

As Kevin stated, the front part of G705 utilized glossy material, the screen is under the same piece of plastic as a whole front. The back of the phone is matte plastic while the side of the phone using chrome material which applied to the side buttons (volume rocker and camera key) as well. The earpiece place next to video calling camera and light sensor is on another side. There is a Play/Pause key on the top of the phone doubled as shortcut to access last played track from music player. The 3.2 Mega Pixel camera is on the back with LED Photo Light and Video Red Light on both sides of the camera lens.
