HTC DROID has got its OTA update, according to Verizon. This new update brings 1.16.605.1 for the ROM and the version for radio is v2.32.40.11.09.
As usual, this update will be available for a small number of users then it will spread in upcoming day.
The following are some fixes and the documentations can be checked on Verizon:
· While on a call and your device is in its screensaver mode, pressing End key can take out it from screensaver mode then pressing it again can end that call
· Improved speaker icon and on-call mute functionality
· Improved functionality once a user has activated eliminates the delay when receiving the first call.
· The switched device form 1x mode to 3G
· After power cycling, user now don’t have to reselect his default email (more…)

Previously we had heard that Satio had been pulled out from some UK retailers due to software glitch problem. For this time it seems that the phone has got the solution with the announced firmware update, R1CA037.
According to gsmarena.com, Sony Ericsson representative told that this latest firmware update would be announced as soon as possible to the public once the uploading process had finished. Currently they are uploading all the needed files and scripts to the net.
There are some specific firmwares from the operators, so it will need time before those all are up. However you can check out whether you are the lucky one for getting the update early. For you who have not yet owned Satio and would like to get one, you should be happy with this, as the Satio’s issue has been solved right now.

Good news for S302 and W302 users, This two low-end phones just received new firmware version - R1CB001 some days ago. unfortunately this firmware only available in Service Centeres. Hope soon it will available in Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS).

New firmware for Sony Ericsson G700 and G900 is now available. It’s only bug fixes on old versions though..
Here some changes on new firmware:
- New default theme.
- New Opera version is 8.65 “958?,
- New Quickoffice version 4.0.363

Sory for late post about this news. USEB has posted news about new firmwares for W960, the K850 and W910. These phones have just received an update to fix some of the problems and bugs in the firmwares. While we have not noticed many bugs in W960, the K850 and W910 does indeed pack quite a few, especially because they were among the first A200 offerings. Wituh new K850i firmware, it’s much faster in general, no more lagging in Media, new effects and much faster working in Media, 3D games in particular run much more smoothly now. The camera has been much improved as well, and same goes for video recordings. Another fine new feature is that you can set the phone to vibrate when using the touch sensitive buttons - this works quite well.
Now for some technical stuff. The K850 firmware is called R1EA031, and is not a major release. The W910 firmware is called R1EA030, and has pretty much the same improvements as with the K850. The W960 firmware CDA is called R6G02.

A commenter at the SE blog, has just posted about an upcoming firmware release for the K850. The new firmware will called R1DA038 and it looks like there will be some major improvements on the camera side. The current camera version is 2.9, while the new firmware’s camera version will be v. 3.4. Video call camera is the same. I hope this news is true since the current R1CA037 doesn’t fix the problems at all…
Update: The new firmware finally available at SEUS, but only for selected country, and only work on unbranded phone.

Sony Ericsson K850i got another new firmware now. Well, its only available on several countries. The major / official release will available on 10 December 2007. The new firmware ( R1CA037) is a bit faster in media section and you can put a 5mp photo as background (029 couldn’t). But still when you leave the music running and try to SMS, it’s lagged. Nothing compared to K800i previously still. Here another change on the new firmware:
