Sony Ericsson C901 aka Filippa is rumored some times ago, but there is no pictures of the phone. Now some pictures of ‘Filippa’, were leaked at SEMC Blog. C901 seems will come in three colour variants, Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach, and the phone itself is looking quite cool. The C901 is a candybar phone in style with the C902. It is rumoured to feature a 2.2-inch display, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, xenon flash and Smile Shutter. Unfortunately, there is no front camera for video call purpose, so I wonder if this phone is 3G or not.
According to the site, the C901 will be announced at Sony Ericsson’s Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona on the 15th of February with a release date in April.

When it comes to settling down on the camera phones market, Sony Ericsson have a very Strong sub-brand: Cybershot! Now the latest and strongest one, C905 is already in the market. Michell Bak from USEB just post a detailed review of the Sony Ericsson C905. As he said in the review, this phone has great feel quality with the rubberized backside. It seems Sony Ericsson did not stop playing with its Cybershot brand. After delivering a camera phone with 8 megapixel resolution through the C905, They now developed 12 megapixel cameraphone with code name “Kotaku”. According to the plan, the phone will have a touch screen interface and will have design similar to Nokia Tube.
This phone will use S60 interface with Symbian OS 9.4 version. This phone will also be equipped with 3.5mm headphone jack, mini-USB socket for better connectivity. In addition, It will also support Bluetooth A2DP, Memory Stick format, and also microSD slot. However, no further info from Sony Ericsson about the price, release date and full specification.

The Sony Ericsson C902 will be officially released on June 2008, and apparently the handset has managed to get through the FCC and get their approval. So with this progress, we can now trust the June release date. Many people are interested with this handset because of its features. With the launch to come, let’s see what this handset is about.
The Sony Ericsson C902 will be another addition to SE’s growing Cybershot camera phone line, and following the K850i, will have its very own 5 megapixel camera module.
