For your information, the Sony Ericsson Paris (P5) will be powered by UIQ 3.3, come with a secondary video call camera, GPS, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth and 3G connection. The keyboard will be similar to M600, which has 2 characters on a key. The P5 will also pre-installed with Google Map, Wayfinder and Opera Mobile software.
Even though it was un-clear, what we’ve seen in on the interblogs videos was definitely a handset(s) from Sony Ericsson. Recently our source at Engadget confirmed that in the video there were two handsets instead of one. Unfortunately, they still couldn’t name what types of SE handset are in the video. Some say it’s prototypes or actual production versions, and some say that it has some similarities with the forthcoming X1.
One thing is for sure, Sony is definitely pushing the convergence angle on its new phones, highlighting lots of multimedia, data sharing, and a suspiciously familiar chat app.

Here we have a video from our source at the Sony Ericsson’s Developer World that came from the JavaOne event recently. The video consisted of an interview with the one person that is responsible for the long-term platform planning Java, Christopher David. Christopher at the interview discussed about new development projects of Sony Ericsson such as the Mobile Services Architecture (MSA) and Project Capuchin.
For you who are not interested enough to see and hear explanations from the man, you might want to see most of Sony Ericsson’s upcoming phones, such as C702, C902, G700, G900 and W980 featured in the video.
Guys, you can now create your own mobile photoblog at the famous Blogger (incase you don’t know, it’s a subsidiary of Google) and publish your best shots. You can do it if you had a Sony Ericsson phone that is equipped with a sensor photo. Our source said that creating widget to export to one site or another blog and display and its latest creations is possible now.
Good news for Sony Ericsson costumers since from the beginning of this month they can download more than 150 million web videos to their phone. How does the Swedish-Japanese do that? They signed a deal with Veveo Inc, a company that had developed a mobile video search service called vtap.
The next best thing is: it’s FREE. That’s right folks. Users can get this service through the Sony Ericsson Fun & Downloads web portal and customers will be able to personalize the videos they wish to see. It searches video sites such as MySpace, YouTube and DailyMotion along with many others on the web to locate videos which match a user’s preference.

MobileBurn’s Michael Oryl got the chance to play around with Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 at the CTIA Wireless 2008 show, Las Vegas. One of the big questions around the X1 has been “what do the panels do?” Well, now we know. They provide quick access to both apps and different home screens, as you can see in the video demo below.
Here video preview of upcoming SE G900. This video shows how the camera works, and also how the new menu system works. It’s a new system where you can navigate through different active home screens.

XPERIA X1 could be one of the most innovative phone from SE this year. Unlike anything Sony Ericsson have made before, the X1 is a curved slider smartphone with a 3-inch VGA wide-aspect touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile OS. On top of that, SE have developed what they’re calling the XPERIA Panel Interface, a group of nine desktop sections that you can re-order and use to access the functionality of the phone.
While the Sony Ericsson Z660 not released yet, TV Commercials of Sony Ericsson Z660 have already hit the Internet. As you can see in the video, Sony Ericsson will be equipped with quite a big display and it seems there is going to be a GPS receiver too (Hope so)…
