 paris beibei

Due to the fact that Sony Ericsson lifted the release smartphone BeiBei, engineering versions of the phone, which dispersed throughout the world, acquired the status as collection models.

One HowardForums.com member sells two phone BeiBei – (an engineering sample) for $ 530, the second will be sold after “proposal, which the seller can not refuse”. However, it is likely that Sony Ericsson will still release BeiBei (as well as Paris) as limited series for the Asian market.

It’s gonna be something really interesting if the rumor is true. Two-in-one device is not something new, but it’s become special since those two devices are PSP and phone. This is going to be a revolutionary step for mobile gaming.

Well thanks to Sony, by announcing their Sony Ericsson F305 (mobile-gaming cellphone without any PSP brand name) in Communic Asia 2008 last week, a rumor (big one) has emerged that this Japanese seems trying to avoid its PlayStation brand name for their joint-venture with Swedish, Sony Ericsson. A trusted source, via Marketing Week, said that Sony won’t give this brand to SE since both of this company had experiencing a “frosty” relationship.

After a while buzzing over the internet, the rumor about the cancel of Paris and BeiBei has finally came true. Following the cancellation of the M60i, both of the phones have similar problems with the M60i. That problem is the large numbers of critics from reviewers and other industry watchers such as mobile-review.com, endgadget.com and Cnet.co.uk. The story doesn’t end there because we are hearing that whilst Paris and the G702 may have been cancelled in Europe, they might still make an appearance in Asia.

There has been a rumor that buzzes over the internet saying that Sony Ericsson will buy the HTC. This rumor surprised many people, as well as me. Could it be? What direction the benefit will take? So, the event that triggered the rumor was like this:

Swedish publication Elektroniktidningen was about to held a meeting with HTC, but the meeting was delayed due to talks of some sort of merger with Sony Ericsson. Everyone panicked: Could HTC be bought by Sony Ericsson? They’ve already worked together on the Xperia X1, so it could be possible, right?

Folks, we have found a leaked info about the new Sony Ericsson C300 over the internet. You can see the Wap profile of the phone here.

For your information, the C300 seems to be made for Mid-End users. However, considering the title of “Cyber-Shot”, the phone might have a quite powerful camera. It is unfortunate that we don’t have much info about this phone besides the screen pixel resolution, which is 240×320, the Internet Browser, which is NetFront 3.3 and Bluetooth availability…

You might’ve read the post about the Paris’ ‘new name’, the P200. Thanks to my friend Meraj Chhaya from phonereport.info for correction of the new name.

According to Unwiredview post about the Sony Ericsson naming system (you can read it here), the P200 should be a candybar (ends with 0), not a slider, which the Sony Ericsson P5i is. And actually, the model number P5i fits the part very nicely, since model numbers ending in 5 mean the phone has a slider form factor, according to SE’s new naming system.

Apparently the Swedish-Japanese handset manufacturer is continually making their upcoming Windows Mobile Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 to be more and more powerful before the official launch. The X1 will double their RAM and Flash memory capacity. So instead of the 128MB of RAM and 256MB of Flash memory, the X1 will have a 256MB of RAM and 512MB of Flash memory. We can tell you this information based on the “White Paper” of the device. With this kind of upgrade, the X1 with its 528 MHz CPU will be operating much faster…
