Sony Ericsson Japan prepared for a new multimedia phone SO706i. This stylish Japanese phone is for NTT DoCoMo and will targeted at the female audience. The SO706i main feature is a 2.8 inch widescreen TFT display with a resolution of 240×427 pixels. This large screen will be used for convenient viewing of Mobile TV, Internet pages, as well as maps of Google Maps. Retail price is about 40000 Japanese yen - equivalent to about $ 380, or 240 euros.

Recently, an analysis from the famous firm Gartner has revealed that there has been a change in the position of five largest cell-phone manufacturers. Apparently the fourth position that was formerly held by Sony Ericsson has shifted to the LG. Therefore the position became like this:
