As people may already guess, Sony Ericsson still has its quite disappointed report in this Q4 2009. The situation still seems quite difficult for the company. Some time ago Sony Ericsson had reported their Q4 losses that reached $270 million, pre-tax.

The good news finally come as Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 had passed FCC tests yesterday. The first Android phone of the company will run on Android 1.6. X10 features 8Mpx camera, aGPS, Wifi as well as Quadband GSM/EDGE and Bands I, IV and VIII ( HSDPA/HSUPA. It seems the phone will hit T-Mobile USA.

A market research firm form Taiwan has given their report regarding iPhone sales market. According to them, Taiwan’s smartphone integrated circuits shipments have exploded. This explosion is due to the unpredicted amount of iPhone sales in that country. These Taiwan integrated circuit shipments have grown over 30% in this quarter.

Further information comes from Market Intelligence and Consulting Institute that has predicted iPhone will reach its hottest selling record in this quarter, 10 millions iPhones. The previous selling number of iPhone was 7.4 million units in Q3 2009.

In desktop browser world, Opera may be not the popular choice but in mobile market Opera has many fans. The newest info Opera is expending their support by introducing Opera Mobile for BREW platform and Android. They get the newest Opera Mobile version 10.

While for WinMo, Opera Mobile 10 is still in beta form. Opera Mini 5 beta 2 is also available for download for Symbian. The current Opera Mobile 10 is only available for OEMs and operators. They say it as “limitations that hinder mass consumer distribution”.

There is a converged interface on Opera Mobile 10 and Opera Mini 5. After seeing the screenshot it looks different than the previous. This will give much mean for OEMs as this new interface offers the simple customer support.
