Review on the New Samsung Captivate

AT&T launch great Android smartphone at last, it is the Samsung Captivate. However it is stlll indoubt wheteher this phone will stand up against the iPhone 4. This device features great 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 4” super AMOLED touchscreen and TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

The Samsung Captivate originally Samsung Galaxy S has also released on few other carrier arround the world with different names like T-Mobile Vibrant, Samsung Fascinate and Sprint Epic 4G.

This device will slip between the other Android phones and later it will make space with all the great feature this phone has to offer including 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory which 1.7 gigabytes are available to store applications.

Being Android device, this phone will have the support of more than 10.000 apps available in the Android Market and the number will continue rising, since the development of Android apps is available for any party.

The cool feature of theS amsung UI that is the TouchWiz is that you can fully costumized your phone look and with the super AMOLED screen displaying it, surely will bring great user experience. Not to mention the UI’s widget that is good displaying and updating from Social Networking to stock exchange.

In text input, the Captivate use virtual QWERTY keyboard that carries new text input feature that is Swype in a quite spacious screen. Dealing with the camera this device bring 5 megapixel camera minus flash.

The Samsung Captivate is a nice alternative choice for people looking for top-end Android device besides the Motoroa and HTC, but we are not sure it will beat up iPhone 4 in the market.
