Video tutorial about how to jailbreak iPhone OS 4 with Redsn0w 0.9.5. Cool iPhone 4 tips and tricks that we’ve waiting for long.. lol :p

The following step by step guide will help you jailbreak your iPhone/IPod OS 4 Beta.

Step 1: Download iPhone OS 4 Beta for iPhone

Step 2: Update to this latest firmware file: iPhone1,2_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw

Step 3: Download redsnow from here:
http://bit.ly/afNSiY

Start redsn0w 0.9.5 and point it to the original iPhone OS 4 Beta firmware for iPhone to proceed.

Step 4: Now select “Install Cydia” and click “Next”.

Step 5: Now make sure your device is both OFF and PLUGGED IN to the computer before you click “Next”.

Step 6: Connect your device in recovery mode by pressing the Power and buttons continuously.
At this stage you will be presented with a screen where you will have to quickly hold “Power” button and then while holding the “Power” button, you will now have to hold “Home” button too. Now after few seconds release “Power” button but keep holding “Home” button until installation begins.

Step 7: Sit back and enjoy while redsn0w will do all the rest for you. Once done, your iPhone will restart automatically and you will find it jailbroken with iPhone firmware version 4.0.

You will now notice that Cydia has a blank white icon. You’ll also notice that Cydia has no sources. Now restart your phone and you should see the regular standard Cydia logo now.

RedSn0w 0.9.5 b5 has been updated once again to jailbreak iPhone 3G and Jailbreak iPod Touch 2G running iOS 4.0 and now supports Windows. Last release was supported with Mac only because there was no iTunes 9.2 beta supported with Windows which is required to restore iOS 4.0 firmware.

RedSn0w 0.9.5 b5 not only supports Jailbreak in both Windows and MAC it also enables multitasking and wallpaper features of iOS 4.0 for both iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G which are disabled by default by Apple.

IMPORTANT:

2) RedSn0w 0.9.5 b5 supports both the iPhone 3G and Pod touch 2G (non-MC version).
3) Unlockers MUST stay away from RedSn0w because it requires you to update your firmware first which upgrades your baseband resulting in a locked iPhone.If you installed that IPSW, you’ve already lost the carrier unlock until the next planned release of ultrasn0w and blacksn0w.
