xperia x10 android os 2.1 upgrade

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 currently still using Android 1.6. This device was rumored will not support multitouch even after upgraded to Android 2.1, due to the poor hardware performance. But according to mobiles.co.uk’s inside man, Xperia X10 will get its upgrade to Android 2.1 in September. And on top of that, it’ll miraculously get multitouch, too, never mind the report that it’s supposed to be physically impossible due to a hardware limitation. Wait, September?! That’s 5 months from now and by that time, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 would be overshadowed by something much more–Incredible? And if not something incredible, maybe something EVOlutionary?! But still, it’s good news for current owners of the X10 but then again, if I were you, I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
