Android 2.1 on HTC Hero?

Previously we had known that HTC Hero came with Android 2.0 through the Sense UI issue. In other side, there is a promise from HTC and Sprint to get the update on their Android OS.

There is no information when the update will arrive. However we can see on the above screenshot that probably is Android 2.0 OS on HTC Hero. So, can we expect HTC Hero jump to Android 2.1? We know the fact that Google has said they will release the minor update for Android 2.0 before end of 2009. This fact was announced by Éclair back on October. Time will answer…

However, the things on Android 2.0 are coming to this phone like free turn-by-turn GPS and so on. Is the screen shoot telling the truth?
