Ikee, an Aussie coder has written about the latest virus that attacks the jailbroken iPhone. This iPhone worm will target the jailbroken iPhones that don’t have RTFM then the virus will change the root password.
This virus is designed to scan 3G IP ranges belong to Vodafone, Optus and Telus network in Aussie. This worm will change the iPhone target’s wallpaper to …Rick Astley. Futher more, Ikee said that this virus was programmed for warning shot rather than a threat to compromise user data.
A new coder has also modified this virus namely “iPhone/Privacy.A” (by Intego). This virus is designed to do things like retrieve e-mail messages, SMS messages, calendar appointments, contacts, photos, music files, videos and other data recorded by you iPhone applications.
