Better and More Expensive Device for Sony Ericsson

Mr Nordberg, the new Sony Ericsson CEO has made his statement for the company. He says that Sony Ericsson needs the better and more impressive handset. Further more he says that the company may get back to its profitability in next year. In other side, most experts say that it needs longer time for the company to turn into profit. They say that 2011 may be the time.

Mr Nordberg says also that Sony Ericsson needs to reduce the manager numbers to save their money. Mr Nordberg has made his statement in a Swedish website some says ago. Previously we know that Sony Ericsson had implemented about 2000 job cuts to save the company’s budget.

So this is what he had said about the road to profitability:

We should spend more on advanced phones and raise the average selling price. We will not chase market share by selling 25 dollar phones in India
