Sony Walkman will be Powered by Android

As we know the future for Google’s Android looks bright. Android Operating System will be applied to many devices, start from MP3, mobile phone, Internet device, netbook, tablet and others. Even at latest news, we have heard about AutoLinQ which is powered by Google Android. AutoLinQ is collaboration within Google, Ford, T-Mobile, Wind River and some other companies. AutoLinQ is used in connected car (they call it). Using AutoLinQ, driver and passenger will be connected and “always on”. Is that interesting..?

Back to Sony, we have heard that the upcoming walkman line of this company will be based on Google Android as its operating system. Other info says that Sony will build their common platform that is based on Google Android for their devices such as MP3, internet device as well as mobile phone.

Android can offer more than iPod can do, so it will have a good chance in MP3 crowd. No confirmation date from Sony so far. But we can sure that the upcoming X-series walkman of the company will use Google Android.
