Serkan Toto from Mobilecrunch.com had a chance to go hands-on with Sony Ericsson G9 in Tokyo. G9 is currently not available in market. This phone represents the 1st KDDI au that will be sold under iida brand in Japan. It is expected the phone will be released next week. However, Serkan Toto got the finished unit of G9 in KDDI showroom.

Some days ago we wrote T707 review on its camera, video, GPS and so on. This time we post the continued review on its design, UI and telephony. The brief specs on Sony Ericsson T707 can be readed on previous post.
Design
The thickness and weight of T707 is ideal so it will be pleasant to be handled. Its 2.2″ screen looks smaller because of some unused frames around it. But however, its screen is legible under the sunlight.
The flat keypad and excessive space within keys make the touch orientation become difficult in this pre-production T707. Its texture is pleasant when used. The unique side of keypad is its gradually illumination.
User Interface
The quick access is offered by its Activity menu. This quick access goes to favorite, recent events, web, running apps that enables for multitasking. Its UI supports Flash Lite theme for change color and wallpaper dynamically.
