Sony Ericsson Xperia with Android inside? Why not!? They have confirmed that the company is planning on developing an Android-based handset. Sealover from Esato forum has updated his Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 with great minimalist design. The XPERIA X2 is what everyone would expect: a smartphone that packs a pretty big touchscreen, the classic Android interface, touch-sensitive (or virtual) “Back”, “Home” and “Menu” keys, plus two calls keys at the bottom and a navigational mechanism.

Japanese always get the best phone first. This time Sony Ericssonis rumored to launch two great phones in Japan. While the phone have no name yet, there are few specifications about these phone. One of them is a Cyber-shot phone and the other is a Walkman phone.

The Cyber-shot phone comes with a 3.3-inch high-resolution OLED display at 800 x 480 pixels. The camera resolution is at 8 megapixels, and it features auto focus as well. As you can see the pictures, the design is look very similar with Xperia X1, but in slider form. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have either a xenon flash nor optical zoom. It’ll come in three colour variants; Black, Magenta, and Olive & Gold.

Sony Ericsson C901 aka Filippa is rumored some times ago, but there is no pictures of the phone. Now some pictures of ‘Filippa’, were leaked at SEMC Blog. C901 seems will come in three colour variants, Noble Black, Sincere Silver and Precious Peach, and the phone itself is looking quite cool. The C901 is a candybar phone in style with the C902. It is rumoured to feature a 2.2-inch display, 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, xenon flash and Smile Shutter. Unfortunately, there is no front camera for video call purpose, so I wonder if this phone is 3G or not.

According to the site, the C901 will be announced at Sony Ericsson’s Mobile World Congress press conference in Barcelona on the 15th of February with a release date in April.

Police assumed the thievery had happened between 5pm on Monday evening and 8am Tuesday morning, 2009-01-14 .

15 different mobile phone prototypes from Sony Ericsson’s development lab, a laptop reported missing from the office, as well as hundreds of other mobile phones are found after a search warrant is issued upon a 35-year-old man’s home on the next day, who has a “working relationship” with the company, and who is the first suspect of the crime. So far, the motive within grasp was purely money. In rough estimation, the prototypes totally cost for about 750.000 kronor, or roughly $ 90,000 in US Currency.

Police refused to release any information about what the 35-year-old may have said during the interrogation, however, as they suspect other people may have been involved and don’t want to compromise the investigation
