The last firmware released by Sony Ericsson for the P1i is February 2008. Since then, no firmware update, and I was thinking Sony Ericsson stopped supportingthe expensive smartphone. But according to a rumor appeared over at my-symbian forums, Sony Ericsson is readies a new firmware release for the P1i, version R6H25. Some of improvements include Opera 9.5 and Flash 3.1.

Michel Bak from USEB has post a long and detailed review of the new Sony Ericsson W980. This phone has excellent audio quality as a Walkman phone, but it’s got some potentially annoying design flaws and the camera seems like a last-minute decision.
On the conclusion Michel stated that the W980 is somewhat an odd acquaintance - either you love it or you don’t. I’m personally quite fond of it, although it lacks WLAN, which is a very important feature for me.
