Good news for Sony Ericsson G900 owner. Fring, the most famous VOIP applications now support your G900 phone. This full featured version lets you interact with all your fring and IM buddies with free calls, live chat, file transfer and much more! Unfortunately this version does not support the little brother G700.

I have posted about this K750i successor before. Cellphonesail has posted this blurry photos of 5mp candybar (codenamed “Kate”). Basically this is a C902 but with newer software in the form of Java 8.4 like the C905 and G705. Xenon flash is included along with QuadBand GSM and UMTS/HSDPA. No GPS, no frontal camera, but it does have a button to switch from still, video, and gallery in the camera app. Camera also has the Smile shutter feature. This should be announced in October along with some other mid/high end phones. Should also come out in time for the holidays.

Swedish site Dailymobile show us some cool Xperia X1 screenshots. As you can see, it is pretty comprehensive unlike other non-iPhone mobile browsers. It would be interesting to see where that handset stacks up in the pecking order when it is finally released. Well, Xperia X1 is a high-end device with large WVGA touch display, side-sliding design with QWERTY, integrated GPS, WiFi and quad-band GSM with quad-band UMTS. It will have personalised interface to change the standard operating system. With the Xperia you get the 800 x 480 display and the Panels interface for adding widgets.
