When read this post, I’m worried the C902 will failed in the market. It seems that the picture quality from the camera is really bad. Now many people got the phone and post pictures taken with their C902 Cybershot Phone. As you can see below, the image quality is not so bad for a 5 megapixel camera phone! So far, the C902’s Camera seems to do an average job…not half bad - but not half good either…
Sebastian, Esato forum member has post some thoughts about this phone:
1) With the K850 I always found the Twilight Portrait the most useful mode (clubs and pubs etc), and I would then adjust the flash accordingly. This mode has been removed.
2) The flash (if you can call it that, SE do, but it’s very weak) now only has two modes: AUTO and OFF. Everyone knows that for good photos AUTO functions are generally rubbish and this is no exception.
3) No more red laser thing. This really helped with knowing when to press the button the whole way down and also stabilised the shots. There is a slight blue glow but not as good. Then again I am colourblind…!
4) No more red eye reduction (red thing and two flashes).
There are also a few advantages of debranding a phone. One is preferance as some dislike the modified menu’s that operators put on. It seems that update’s come out for generic handsets sooner.
