It’s gonna be something really interesting if the rumor is true. Two-in-one device is not something new, but it’s become special since those two devices are PSP and phone. This is going to be a revolutionary step for mobile gaming.
Well thanks to Sony, by announcing their Sony Ericsson F305 (mobile-gaming cellphone without any PSP brand name) in Communic Asia 2008 last week, a rumor (big one) has emerged that this Japanese seems trying to avoid its PlayStation brand name for their joint-venture with Swedish, Sony Ericsson. A trusted source, via Marketing Week, said that Sony won’t give this brand to SE since both of this company had experiencing a “frosty” relationship.
A post recently from our fellow at the Blogvasion revealed something interesting. It seems that the Capuchin bridging technology has been brought to the Sony Ericsson C905. This handset belongs to the JP-8.4 sub-category which is differentiated from previous JP-8 sub-categories by including the Project Capuchin API.

Our friends at the Mobile-review have been lucky enough to get their hands on the Sony Ericsson C902. According to their opinion, here are some points that need to be highlighted:
The Sony Ericsson C902 has no problem in the matter of signal receiving and reception quality. This unit was loud enough to be heard in most, even call-unfriendly environments. The reception quality of the C902 was quite good – we got strong signal levels in most places and didn’t notice any significant differences from other contemporary solutions. Also going for the C902 is its superb build quality. The C902 is a direct rival to the Samsung U800 Soul – in fact these two have a whole lot in common, that is: build quality, metallic accents on the back, relatively small yet decent display, pretty much basic functionality. However the Samsung’s offering packs in a 3 Mpix camera, takes away some value from it. Interestingly, these two phones are reactions of Sony Ericsson and Samsung respectively to the Nokia 6500 Classic’s great sales, although the latter doesn’t have metallic accents or tons of memory onboard and some other smarts and feats. But it got to the market much earlier than either of these two phones. It’s quite another matter, though, that the update of the 6500 Classic will arrive much later than the Samsung U800 and Sony Ericsson C902, so they won’t clash directly in view of price gaps that won’t get smaller over time.
G900 is one of the most awaited UIQ phone from Sony Ericsson. This phone become more interesting since use similar design with ordinary cell phone, but has UIQ OS and touch screen. Unwiredview just post their review about this phone and found some interesting fact. In the bottom line they said that the G900 turned out to be an interesting smartphone, easy to use for calls or writing messages as a normal phone, while retaining all the capabilities of Symbian UIQ. It’s a good product that will probably sell well. The G900 not a top model among the Sony communicators; the successors of the P1 and T5 are expected to come out towards the end of the year. This model should be great for people who need normal phone functions first and smartphone functions second.
After a while buzzing over the internet, the rumor about the cancel of Paris and BeiBei has finally came true. Following the cancellation of the M60i, both of the phones have similar problems with the M60i. That problem is the large numbers of critics from reviewers and other industry watchers such as mobile-review.com, endgadget.com and Cnet.co.uk. The story doesn’t end there because we are hearing that whilst Paris and the G702 may have been cancelled in Europe, they might still make an appearance in Asia.
There’s a ground breaking innovation in gaming experience as the F305 reveal its Motion Gaming technology. This new feature will allow users to control the game in their handset by using the flick of a wrist or the swing of an arm. To support the gaming experience, Sony Ericsson F305 also provides a 2 inch screen and built-in stereo speakers. Plus - if you’re not happy with the 8 hour gameplay battery life, you can always get yourself the Power Pack CPP-100 to receive a power boost.
The new slide mobile phone of Sony Ericsson F305 will satisfy all of you game addicts, by putting the game controls on the phone, just like in PlayStation and Wii Nintendo which enables you to control the game with its motion censor. This type of mobile phone lets you play many 3D games with quick loading because of its small resolutions. Because it is specified into the need of playing games and intentioned to be a portable gaming mobile phone, the other features are less impressive, such as FM radio. However its innovation of being the first gaming mobile phone that has a motion control system gains a major point for no other types of mobile phone has not reached the technology. This Sony Ericsson F305 will be launched on 17th of June.
