FCC revealed the existence of Sony Ericsson G702 “BeiBei”
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in their obligatory round of FCC testing has confirmed the existence of the long-rumored “BeiBei”, the former codename for the G702 (the specific example submitted here appears to be a G702c variant).
The Symbian-equipped powerhouse comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera and Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot for extra memory. The candybar handset features a touchscreen (a la the G700 and G900) display with a stylus in addition to a roller bar for navigation.
The G702 sports dual-band GSM (850/1900MHz), and the user manual at the FCC references WiFi, 3G, and a built-in GPS receiver. The manual also shows a built-in maps application with satellite view, and the Wayfinder navigation software pre-installed.
