It looks like our friend at the softpedia concluded that the reason of the T270 canceling is the T280 (or T280i) that was announced at the end of January and in the same press release with T270. There’s no big difference between the two handsets, they literary have the same looks and the same features except that the T280 has a photo camera, while the T270 doesn’t. It seems that the T270 was targeted for business users who are not allowed to use photo cameras in their offices.

But I don’t really see too many businesspersons who would want to have a low-featured mobile phone (and the two T handsets are quite low in features). Sony Ericsson might have thought about this too, therefore the T270 no longer exists on the company’s website and at the link where initially its features and pics were happily welcoming users, now we only get to see an unfriendly “Oh No! 404 – Page not found”. Even if you search the T270 in the website’s database, there’s still no sign of it. This being said, Sony Ericsson T270 is most probably a canceled phone.

Enjoy folks.

Mobile-review has compared the Sony Ericsson W960 Walkman and the Nokia N81 XpressMusic based on their important features. It is really interesting comparison and you should see it.

Based on the criteria that mobile-review has, the Nokia N81 has earned more points than the Sony Ericsson W960. To be precise, there were eight “plus” of the N81 that the W960 doesn’t have and most of which are scores on the most vital part. The W960 only won in the player’s abilities and the data transfer speeds criteria. You can see the comparison yourself under. The W960i is a different creature – no doubt, it is an interesting product, it is handy in use, but… only as long as you don’t face it off against its closest rival.
