Very lucky guy Michell Bak have a great (and blur) first live Z660 picture. I guess he have some more better pictures, but not permited by Sony Ericsson to publish, right Michell? :-P

At least the photo proved that the Z660i will actually exist :)

The red thing in the bottom is the speaker.  The display shows informations such as signal strength, messages, time (not date), battery and 3G connection. It has a 2 mega pixel camera (fixed focus), HSDPA and it’s running A200.

A commenter at the SE blog, has just posted about an upcoming firmware release for the K850. Michell Bak of SE Blog has posted a long and great review about the newest SE phones, W960. SE W960 is probably one of the best phones from Sony Ericsson – also when it comes to build quality. It feels extremely sturdy and the materials used are nice. The back is rubberised, which gives you a good grip of the phone. The front is glossy and looks good, but needs a good clean a few times a day. The stylus, however, isn’t that great and feels a bit cheap. It’s good for the touch screen, though, because soft plastic has been used in the end.

Moron12 (nickname), Deviantart community member has a great tutorial about K850 theme making. The guide consist of text file and PSD file. So you must have a photoshop program to open it. You will see that the PSD contains the basic principles for the setup of a K850 theme.

This Guide is helpful for all those who use it and I hpe too that it will encourage those theming for K800 and W580 phones to make K850 versions too, as there are on very few differences between the themes overall.

One of the biggest phones enemy is water! For this reason, Sony Ericsson intends to go where no other camera phone has gone before – under water! The company is working on a waterproof housing accessory that would protect the phone from moisture but at the same time has a clear window for the camera lens for clicking pictures. We have just one question, why would someone take his cellphone while taking a dip in the ocean/lake/pool? Nevertheless, Sony Ericsson probably thinks that people will do so.

Here the patent abstract:
A housing may include a first portion that includes a window configured to allow a lens to capture images viewed through the window, and a first mating surface. The housing may include a second portion that includes a second mating surface adapted to mate with the first mating surface to form a watertight seal, at least one button to provide a signal to a terminal supported in the second portion, and a receiving surface on an inner surface of the second portion adapted to receive an insert, where the insert is adapted to be removeably coupled to the receiving surface on a first side and to receive the terminal via a second side.
